Hours for
receival
Premer Grain Storage operates from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. The weighbridge will close at 4pm otherwise by prior arrangement.
No trucks will be loaded/unloaded before or after these operating hours unless prior arrangements are made.
Under no circumstances will overloaded trucks be received or unloaded at Premer Grain Storage.
Truck
Scheduling
Trucks must be booked 48 hours prior to loading.

Drivers are to quote confirmation ‘Truck Booking Number’ on arrival at weighbridge.
Workplace

Safety
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn by all persons onsite, including but not limited to, safety footwear and High Visibility clothing.
All drivers must always stay within the allocated waiting area.
Passengers and children must stay within the truck cabin.
No drivers are allowed to climb on or around trailers, other than via the designated ladders on trailers.
All drivers are to be made aware of WHS requirements prior to arrival to Premer Grain Storage S&H sites.
Weighbridge
Premer Grain Storage requires drivers delivering and out loading grain to provide vehicle registration number and grain contract numbers at time of weighing to the weighbridge operator.
We will provide the driver with 2 weighbridge dockets including gross, tare & nett weights, along with the grain quality test results.
Truck Mass
Limits
The weighbridge at Premer Grain Storage is a “Trade Certified Weighbridge” therefore bound by law in accordance with the requirements of the Transport Operations Act and Regulations, to abide by and enforce these regulations and under no circumstance will overloaded trucks be received or unloaded at Premer Grain Storage.
Premer Grain Storage will make all reasonable endeavours to out load and unload grain in accordance with our client’s requests, subject to any restrictions, limitations or other conditions. At all times Premer Grain Storage retains the final discretion as to what grain type and grain quality will be received/out turned at Premer Grain Storage.
